Mumbai: Congress leader Sonia Gandhi will attend the two-day INDIA meeting along with Rahul Gandhi, the party's Maharashtra unit chief Nana Patole said here on Monday.

Patole said the meet would unveil a logo on August 31. "Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and six to seven chief ministers will attend the meeting. The meeting will send a big message to the country against BJP," Patole said.

Meanwhile, a day after rebel NCP leader and minister Chhagan Bhujbal attacked NCP chief Sharad Pawar in a public meeting, Pawar's nephew Ajit Pawar distanced himself from Bhujbal's remarks. "In politics, one should be clear in making their stand but while making it one should ensure that people's feelings aren't hurt." He, however, claimed he had not heard Bhujbal's remarks.
