Sonia Gandhi , Rahul Gandhi pay floral tributes to late Congress leader Murli Deora

MUMBAI: Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi joined party workers here in paying floral tributes to former Union Minister and senior party leader Murli Deora, who passed away this morning.

The Gandhis were accompanied by Priyanka Gandhi and her husband Robert Vadra.

Senior Congress leaders Ahmed Patel, Motilal Vohra and Anand Sharma were also present at the Mumbai Congress office.

Maharashtra Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prakash Mehta, Education Minister Vinod Tawde, MNS Chief Raj Thackeray, Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal also paid floral tributes to the late leader.

Deora's mortal remains were later taken to Chandanwadi crematorium, where his last rites would be conducted with state honours.
