Sonia Gandhi extends Diwali greetings

NEW DELHI: Congress president Sonia Gandhi has extended greetings and good wishes to people celebrating Diwali festival here in India and around the world.

"Let the 'festival of lights' usher a renewed resolve in each one of us to traverse the distance from 'darkness to light', 'despair to hope' & 'tyranny to compassion'," she said in a message.

Remembering the less fortunate, Gandhi urged people to do their part to bring new light in the other people's lives.
