Sonia Gandhi condoles Delhi bomb blast victims

Congress President Sonia Gandhi, who returned back today expressed "sorrow" and "anguish" over the Delhi High Court blast.

NEW DELHI: Congress President Sonia Gandhi today expressed "sorrow" and "anguish" over the Delhi High Court blast.

Gandhi, who returned here this morning from London after undergoing surgery for an undisclosed ailment, expressed her condolence to the affected families.

"The Congress President has expressed her heartfelt condolences and sympathy to those who died and were injured in the unfortunate incident," AICC general secretary Janardan Dwivedi said.

Gandhi also thanked all those who wished her speedy recovery when she was undergoing treatment.

It is understood that doctors have advised her complete rest for some more time and hence the Congress President would not be meeting people very soon.
