Some leaders are misleading farmers on the Agriculture Bills : Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi

As far as the issue of continuance of APMC and MSP is concerned, the government had assured earlier as well that there is no plan to scrap these. When did we say that MSP will be discontinued? Such confusion and false narrative are being created by people with vested interest to fool our gullible farmers.
There has been record purchase of wheat and rice on MSP under this government. And these agrarian laws will only facilitate an increase in farmers’ incomes. Taking one step forward, farmers will now have the freedom to sell their produce anywhere, beyond the mandis. Is this anti-farmer? Farmer issues are fully secured under this government. But some failed political players from defeated dynasties are trying to shoot from farmers’ shoulders to hijack this issue and defame our democracy. All the hatash-nirash aatma (frustrated souls) are trying to create unrest from Day 1, which has become an irritation for common people
Also, when the government is open to all concerns of the farmers, there is no reason to agitate.
The farmers are very much satisfied with the actions and decisions of the Modi government. Still some vested interests are trying to deflect the direction of these agitations from talks towards face-off. Most farmers feel the government is taking adequate steps in the right direction but some people with a destructive mindset are trying to mislead farmers, asking for a repeal of the agrarian laws.

In these unprecedented times when we all should be working together for the safety of all, the Congress is issuing misleading statements every day. But they will not succeed in their destructive motives. This is evident from their poor performance in the Parliament-to-panchayat polls where they have been decimated. People have rejected them.
Sloganeering or calling the farm legislation as Adani-Ambani’s laws will not do. These farm laws are for farmers. Will people who can’t differentiate between rabi and kharif, baingan and burger, ganna (sugarcane) and gud (jaggery), tell us what is pro-farmer and what is not? Will people who or whose ancestors have never had anything to do with farming become kisano ka neta? The grand old party will become extinct, thanks to its own pack of lies.
