Smriti Irani holds meeting with state Education Ministers

LUCKNOW: Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani today held a meeting with the Education Ministers of four states over new education policy.

"The meeting was attended by four states- Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and Uttrakhand," Uttar Pradesh's Basic Education Minister Ram Govind Chaudhary told PTI.

He said that during the meeting discussions were held on the new policy.

"As suggestions are being invited from the block level, how much work has been completed was reviewed. The work has to be completed by November," he said.
