NEW DELHI: A slight intensity earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale shook parts of Sikkim and several areas bordering Nepal.
The tremor was felt at 10:42 hours at latitude 27.5 degree north and longitude 88.0 degree east, Meteorological Department said here.
There were no immediate reports of any casualty or damage.
