Under CBI scanner in Delhi excise policy case, deputy chief minister and senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia claimed on Monday that BJP had offered to withdraw all cases against him if he were to break AAP and join the saffron party. He said that he had rejected the offer and dared the BJP government at the Centre to come after him with all its might.

Sisodia took to microblogging site Twitter and wrote in Hindi on Monday morning, "I have received a message from BJP - you break AAP and come and join BJP, all CBI and ED cases will be closed. My response to BJP is - I belong to the clan of Maharana Pratap, I am a Rajput. I will choose to get my head chopped off but I will not capitulate before the corrupt. All the cases against me are false. Do whatever you want to do."

The claim came on a day when Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and Sisodia were in election-bound Gujarat to announce guarantees on education and healthcare.

"Impressed by the governance model of Delhi and the work of AAP government in Punjab, the people of Gujarat also want to give a chance to CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal," Sisodia said. "AAP will transform the state for the better in just five years with excellent education and healthcare services, which BJP could not do in the past 27 years. BJP has done nothing to support people of Gujarat in the last 27 years to fight against continuously rising inflation; people are struggling for basic amenities," Sisodia said.

The two top leaders of AAP are on a two-day visit to Gujarat where they will campaign for the party.
