Sino-Pak nuclear reactors open to IAEA inspection: Qureshi
Pak Foreign Minister said the deal conforms to international laws.
Interacting with media persons on the sidelines of a function in Multan, Qureshi said the proposed nuclear reactors were intended to fulfil the massive energy needs of the country, and there was nothing 'secret' about it.
He said that projects like the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline and the proposed nuclear reactors at Chasma in Punjab showcases Islamabad's 'diplomatic' success.
"It is our diplomatic achievement that we've successfully negotiated transfer of civil nuclear technology agreement with China and gas pipeline project with Iran simultaneously," The Nation quoted Qureshi, as saying.
Highlighting China's enhanced role in the country, he said Beijing was undertaking 120 projects in Pakistan at present, and about 10,000 Chinese engineers were working on these projects.
