MUMBAI: Maharashtra director general of police (DGP) PS Pasricha on Monday said the police had got some “solid leads” to believe that the explosives used in the Malegaon blasts were similar to those used in the July 11 train blasts in Mumbai.

“Yes reports about similarity between the two incidents are coming in to us. We are looking into it.

We have also got a few more solid leads that we are working on and I don’t think it would be wise to reveal that at this moment,” Mr Pasricha told reporters here when asked whether there was any similarity in explosives used in the two blasts.
