Shoe hurled at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal during press conference
The incident happened during a press conference at Delhi Secretariat here addressed by Kejriwal on roll out of the second phase of the Odd-Even scheme from April 15.

“Arvindji, 1 minute. I have done a sting on CNG stickers. What are you doing? This is a scam,” shouted Prakash as he interrupted Kejriwal while he was reading out details from the draft notification of odd and even scheme part 2. Within a few seconds, he then hurled the shoe and CDs of the purported sting. When the disruption had happened, he then said, “My name is Ved Prakash and I am from the Aam Aadmi Sena.”
Soon after, Kejriwal went back to announcing details. “First phase was very successful because of voluntary compliane of Delhi’s people. All surveys after that showed people desired odd and even. This phase of odd and even is almost same,” he said. Among the list of VIPs exempted include judiciary, office of Lokayukta, emergency vehicles, defence and embassy vehicles, among others.
Among citizens, the draft notification shows the following categories of vehicles exempted: CNG, electric, hybrid vehicles, medical emergencies, women only vehicles including children upto 12 years age, election commission etc. “There are only nine working days between April 15 and 30. It is only 4-5 days inconvenience. We are not doing this for personal benefit but for Delhi’s sale,” requested Kejriwal. This will be notified by Tuesday or Wednesday, he added.
Couple of hours after the attack, the police had detained Prakash and was questioning him.
