MUZAFFARNAGAR: Station House officer of Charthawal police station here was today sent to police lines for allegedly circulating objectionable massages against a community on mobile messaging app, WhatsApp.

Some social activists and Samajwadi party workers alleged that SHO Munendarpal was sending objectionable message on WhatsApp against a community, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) K B Singh said.

A complaint has been lodged against the SHO in this regard, the SSP said, adding, SP (city) Sarvan Kumar would conduct an enquiry into the matter.
