Shiv Sena wants Governor's rule in J&K
The Shiv Sena on Monday demanded imposition of "Governor's rule" in Jammu and Kashmir following the clashes in the state when people were celebrating India's victory over Pakistan in the Twenty20 Cricket World Cup final.
JAMMU: The Shiv Sena on Monday demanded imposition of "Governor's rule" in Jammu and Kashmir following the clashes in the state when people were celebrating India's victory over Pakistan in the Twenty20 Cricket World Cup final.
"We want imposition of Governor's rule in the state where the minorities became targets of the majority community while celebrating India's victory," state Shiv Sena chief Rajesh Gupta told reporters here.
He claimed Hindus in J&K had "totally lost faith" in the Congress government.
