Shiv Sena calls PM Narendra Modi remarks unfortunate and reminds him of his Godhra past
MUNBAI: While Prime Minister Narendra Modi finally broke his silence in an interview and has called the Dadri and Ghulam Ali concert cancellation unfortunate. The Shiv Sena which was involved in the cancellation of the Ghulam Ali concert cancellation as well as protesting against the launch of the book of former Foreign Minister of Pakistan Kurshid Mahmud Kasuri’s book in Mumbai has hit back at Modi reminding him of Modi’s Godhra past.

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut while speaking to media persons said that the Ghulam Ali concert cancellation was not unfortunate. “What is unfortunate is the PM’s statement. The country and the world knew of Modi’s leadership skills and strong Hindutva after Godhra and Ahmedabad. Everyone knew after this incidents that he is nationalistic and he fights for Hindutva.”said Raut.

He added that Modi’s ‘changed’ stance comes as Modi is the PM. "It is his compulsion as he is the PM and hence he has to make such statements. If he was just Narendra Modi then he would not have been making such statements," claimed Raut.
