Shiv Sena, BJP clash over grave of Mumbai blast mastermind

Mumbai: The 'beautification' of the grave of Mumbai 93 serial blasts convict Yakub Memon has led to a political row with the Bharatiya Janata Party claiming that it was done at the behest of the erstwhile Uddhav Thackeray led Maha Vikas Aghadi government and the Mumbai police now ordering a probe on the issue.

Yakub Memon was hanged after he was found guilty for his role in the 93 Mumbai serial blasts case and he was buried by his family members at the Bada Qabrastan in South Mumbai. Images have circulated since Wednesday showing a marble top and Halogen and LED lights being placed near the grave of Memon.
