MUMBAI: A day after the paint attack on Sudheendra Kulkarni, the Shiv Sena and BJP had a no holds barred attack against each other.

The Sena fired the first salvo earlier in the day at Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis when Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut took offence to the Chief Minister’s comment criticising the Sena attack on Kulkarni.

While Fadnavis had said that the attack had brought disgrace to Maharashtra’s image. Raut hit back on Tuesday by saying that it was the Chief Minister didn’t ‘understand Maharashtra’. “The state has been insulted by the Chief Minister’s statement. It has been insulted by this pro Pak behaviour. The Sena is a patriotic organisation and it raised the voice against the Pakistani programme as we are nationalists.

What has brought shame to Maharashtra is the fact that the Mumbai police who lost their lives during 26/11 had been asked to guard a Pakistani national,”said Raut.
