Sheila Dikshit plans to resign if transfered her to Mizoram; meets Rajnath, President
Dikshit was appointed governor of Kerala in March, about two months before the UPA’s defeat in the general elections.

“My resignation is a speculation right now. You will come to know when I take such a decision,” Dikshit told reporters on Monday.
Dikshit termed her meetings with the home minister and the president as routine. “I always meet the president when I am in Delhi. I had just come to have a cup of tea with the home minister,” she said after a 15-minute meeting with Singh.
Some officials, however, said that Dikshit plans to resign if the government decides to transfer her to Mizoram. Dikshit was appointed governor of Kerala in March, about two months before the UPA’s defeat in the general elections.
The Bharatiya Janata Party had earlier alleged that her continuance as a governor was preventing investigating agencies from probing her role in the Commonwealth Games scam because of the constitutional safeguards provided to her post.
The Central Bureau of Investigation, however, has denied any plans to question Dikshit in the matter, saying it has no proof against her. Dikshit is said to have refused to quit after the Modi government reportedly nudged her to resign a couple of months ago. Maharashtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan had resigned on Sunday after he was transferred to Mizoram.
