Taking a pot shot at the BJP, the congress said there were several other leaders within the BJP who are opposed to Narendra Modi.

PATNA: Upset over Shatrughan Sinha's remark describing Bihar chief minister as a prime ministerial material, the BJP on July 31 said the actor-politician was inviting action from the party.

"It is for the central leadership to take action against Sinha who continues to embarrass the party with his utterances. We will also speak to the party leadership in New Delhi," BJP vice-president CP Thakur told reporters here on July 31 .

"It is not for the first time the MP has gone overboard in breaching the party discipline. If he thinks of quitting, the party will not come in his way," Thakur said.

Apart from suspending the party MLA Amarnath Gami, the BJP on Tuesday removed former MLC Ramkishore Singh from the post of party spokesperson for having spoken in favour of Bihar chief minister.

Singh on July 31 however decided to quit the party saying he supported the ideology of inclusive politics of Nitish Kumar .

Taking pot shot at the BJP, the congress said there were several other leaders within the BJP who are opposed to Narendra Modi. "The BJP itself is a divided house over the name of Modi. And to think that the people of this country will accept Modi is hard to digest " the Bihar congress media in-charge Prem Chand Mishra said
