The Maha opposition alliance Vikas Aghadi on Saturday staged protests in different districts of Maharashtra against the Badlapur sexual assault case and the state's handling of the incident.

Uddhav Thackeray, who heads the Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray Sena, held a 'silent' protest at Dadar's Sena Bhavan, whereas Nationalist Congress Party Sharadchandra Pawar staged a protest in Pune.
