These terrorists knew that the vehicles would go early in the morning this is worrying because these movements are done in secrecy, said the NCP chief.
Nationalist Congress Party Chief Sharad Pawar said on Friday that the suicide attack on a CRPF convoy in Jammu Kashmir was worrying and leads to the conclusion that there were lapses in security.

“ This attack that has taken place is very worrying, such convoys have escort vehicles with Jawans carrying weapons to prevent such attacks. In spite of this such attack happening shows two things very clearly that these terrorists knew that the (CRPF) vehicles would go early in the morning this is worrying because these movements are done in secrecy.”said the NCP chief while speaking to reporters in Baramati.

He added, “Secondly after the suicide blast there was firing on the jawans which means this was also pre planned. According to me I have my doubts on whether proper precautions were taken to prevent such attacks.”

Meanwhile among the dead are two jawans from Maharashtra both from Buldhana district in the state.
