Sharad Pawar discharged from hospital in Mumbai

The 73-year-old leader had sustained a leg fracture from a fall at his Delhi residence earlier this month, following which he was flown here in an air ambulance.

Sharad Pawar discharged from hospital in Mumbai
MUMBAI: NCP chief and former Union Minister Sharad Pawar, who underwent surgery at a private hospital here on December 5 for a leg injury, was discharged today.

The 73-year-old leader had sustained a leg fracture from a fall at his Delhi residence earlier this month, following which he was flown here in an air ambulance.

"Pawar has been discharged from the Breach Candy Hospital," NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik told PTI.

"He has been advised rest by doctors. We appeal to people not to throng his residence," Malik said.
