Shakti Sinha new Chief Managing Director of DSIIDC

NEW DELHI: Shakti Sinha, an IAS officer of the 1979 batch, today assumed charge as Chief Managing Director of DSIIDC, the premier infrastructure development agency of Delhi government.

He took over from Chetan Sanghi who has been transferred to Mizoram.

Sinha has held several prestigious positions in the past both in the Central and Delhi governments, besides working with the UN mission in Afghanistan and at the World Bank.

Prior to his present posting, Sinha was serving Delhi government as Principal Secretary, Power department.

Under Sanghi, DSIIDC (Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation) had a number of key infrastructure development projects.
