Shah may meet BJP workers of western UP & Braj region
In Varanasi, Shah is also expected to have a samanway meeting, a coordination meeting of sorts, with specific office bearers from places in the eastern region.

Western UP and Braj were regions that the president couldn’t visit during his first and second rounds of meeting with vistaraks across the country, a senior member of the party said. Shah is expected to reach Mirzapur on Wednesday, and then proceed to Varanasi where he will hold meetings at the new Trade Centre, built by the Centre for the benefit of weavers and handicraft artists. He will the visit Agra where he will meet with intellectuals at the Sur Sadan. Nearly 1,000 known people in the city are expected to attend the meet where he is expected to talk about the Modi government’s work in the last four years.
While the party has a strong presence in western UP, several places around Agra such as Etawah, Ferozabad are known to be bastions of the Samajwadi Party. During his trip, Shah will also have a meeting with “Loksabha Toli”, a group of chosen office bearers and workers of the party, to work on general election campaign. In Varanasi, Shah is also expected to have a samanway meeting, a coordination meeting of sorts, with specific office bearers from places in the eastern region.
He is also expected to take stock of the party’s activities in Gorakhpur, where the BJP lost to SP in a bypoll. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath will accompany the party president throughout the entire trip.
