Shabana Azmi issues apology on her tweet on railways

Veteran actor Shabana Azmi issued an apology to the railway ministry after she was corrected for posting a video that mistook people washing dishes in a puddle of water as railway workers.

The clip showed three people washing dishes in dirty water. The actor then posted a video on Monday tagging railway minister Piyush Goyal in her tweet.

The actor was corrected after the railway ministry promptly responded with a tweet stating: "Mam, video is of Malaysian eatery which faces closure after video shows workers washing dishes in puddle of murky water."



The actor, however, had to face the wrath of the trolls who took potshots at the actor and some of them even asked the railway ministry to file defamation suit against her.
