The notice was served to Mohanty's staff as he was not present at the official residence here, a police officer said.

While speculations were rife regarding interrogation of Mohanty on Friday, the officer preferred to keep it a secret.
When contacted, DCP Amitabh Thakur said though he was supervising the case, Mahila Station Inspector Bilasini Nayak would interrogate Mohanty.
Sources said a police team was likely to interrogate Mohanty at his official residence while five others, including Mohanty's driver, were asked to come to the police station for recording their statements.
