MUMBAI: While upholding the gag order against Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray, the sessions court on Monday made it clear that he cant be prohibited from doing so for an indefinite period.

The gag order was issued on February 14 in the wake of his statements against North Indian migrants that led to violence in the metropolis and parts of Maharashtra.

The order was to expire on Monday. The court, however, struck down the part of the order which said it was to remain in force till February 25 or till such time as such activities are stopped or got under control.
