Separatist Asiya Andrabi arrested for anti-national activities
Jammu and Kashmir Police today arrested chief of radical women's outfit Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Asiya Andrabi, in connection with a case registered against her.

"Andrabi has been arrested in connection with the case registered under Section 13 of Unlawful Activities Act on August 17," a police official said here.
Andrabi has been lodged at women's police station here.
The DeM chief celebrated Pakistan's Independence Day on August 14 at her residence by singing that country's national anthem and unfurling the flag of the neighbouring country on the outskirts of the city.
Hours after that, Andrabi had stoked another controversy by addressing via phone a rally in Pakistan which was organized by Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed-led Jamat-ud Dawa (JuD).
Saeed was sitting on the stage during Andrabi's address.
Andrabi had earlier also celebrated Pakistan's National Day on March 23 this year and hoisted the flag of the country and sung its national anthem, following which the police registered a case against her under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.
