Senior advocate HS Phoolka resigns from Aam Aadmi Party
Phoolka will address the media tomorrow at 4pm at Press Club, New Delhi, in which he will detail the reasons behind his exit.
“I have resigned from AAP & handed over resignation to Kejriwal ji today. Though he asked me not to resign but I insisted,” Phoolka tweeted. He added that he will hold a press briefing in this regard on Friday to explain the reasons behind leaving the party.

He had contested the Lok Sabha elections in 2014 from Ludhiana on AAP ticket, but lost to Congress candidate Ravneet Singh Bittu.
Phoolka has been leading the legal fight for justice for the victims of 1984 anti-Sikh riots, taking up cases against several Congress leaders accused of involvement despite the government cover-up.
