Union Minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Giriraj Singh, has suggested that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi should be “sent to school” to learn details of ministries and departments in the central government.

Displaying a newspaper in the Lok Sabha during question hour, Singh took a detour while answering a question from a BJP MP to take potshots at Gandhi. "I have been hurt because of Rahul Gandhi's comments. On February 2, he had an unstarred question (about fisheries) but after going to Puducherry and Kochi, he did not remember it. Instead, he said there is no fisheries department and 'if I come to power, I will have a separate ministry for fisheries.’ I am hurt. I am raising a Constitutional issue." Pointing to Congress benches, Singh said, “please send their leader to school. Tell him what ministries, departments exist or else he will forget what all ministries are there in the federal structure.”
