Seemandhra strike: ATMs run out of cash in Vijaywada

VIJAYAWADA: ATMs in the city and in other parts of Krishna district have run out of cash following closure of cooperative banks since Friday due to ongoing strike against division of Andhra Pradesh.

Most of the ATMs have displayed 'out of border' signs since cash cannot be deposited by private security agencies who carry out the task for banks.

This is causing a huge inconvenience to general public and especially lodgers.

According to a manager of a bank, the situation may improve tomorrow.
