Security forces killed a hardcore anti talk NDFB militant in Assam

GUWAHATI: In a major setback to the banned Songbijit faction of National Democratic Front of Boroland’s ( NDFB), a self styled platoon commander Jeblang was killed by the security forces in Kokrajhar district on Saturday.

One Ak 56 rifle, two hand grenades and 22 rounds of live ammunition were recovered from the slain militant.

Jeblang was involved in the recent massacre of Adivasis which left 81 people dead.
