Security agencies claim to foil plot to target cops, BJP-RSS leaders
NEW DELHI: Four alleged terrorists arrested by the Madhya Pradesh Police recently were planning to carry out terror strikes in India by targeting BJP and RSS leaders as well as police officers outside the state, the Intelligence Bureau has informed the Union Home Minister and National Security Advisor.

In a report to Rajnath Singh and Ajit Doval, the IB has said the four arrested men — Imran Khan, Waseem, Raizvan and Anawar Qureshi —are all residents of Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh and had been radicalised over the internet during the last one year by one Yousuf-Al-Hindi. Yousuf was guiding this group through cyber chat and persuading them to carry out the strikes in BJP and RSS leaders, the IB has informed the Home Ministry. The names of the targeted leaders have however not been revealed.
