Secular parties should support Mulayam as Prime Minister: Samajwadi Party Assam unit
SP Assam unit has appealed all secular parties to support SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav as Prime Minister.

Wishing Mulayam before his 75th birthday on November 22, SP state unit vice-president Ratul Choudhury said the Samajwadi Party was the only secular party which could form a government at the Centre with the help of other secular parties if both Congress and BJP fail to win majority in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Choudhury in a press statement here today said if his leader becomes the Prime Minister, then the poor and the downtrodden would be benefited by his works carried out in the footsteps of Jayaprakash Narayan and Ram Manohar Lohia.
The senior Samajwadi leader also called upon his party workers across the country to take a pledge for ensuring maximum number of seats for the SP in the coming general elections.
