A day after the NIA investigation was ordered into the bombing incidence in front of Bengal BJP MP Arjun Singh's residence, a fresh incident of bombing was reported near his house, despite police deployment and CCTV camera surveillance.

The explosions were reported within 200 meter radius of Singh's house and policemen from Jagaddal police station rushed just after the incident, sources said. However, no injury was reported in the bomb explosion.

Today’s incident occurred a day after the Union Home ministry ordered the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to probe bomb blasts.


Shamik Bhattacharya, chief spokesperson of BJP, said, “BJP MP Arjun Singh’s house has been the target of continuous attacks for the last few days. There is complete lawlessness in the state. Trinamool Congress does not abide by the federal structure of the country and the law & order situation is precarious. When a BJP MP’s house is continuously attacked from the time, before he became MP and till date.”

On September 8, two crude bombs were hurled by unidentified miscreants at the gate of Arjun Singh's residence while another near the post of central armed forces, stationed there for the protection of the BJP MP in North 24 Parganas district's Bhatpara in the wee hours of Wednesday.

Arjun Singh’s house is well guarded by the central security. Police was deployed near his house after the attack on September 8. Bike-borne miscreants had come and hurled them at the entrance gate, sources said. Case was registered against unknown miscreants.
