Jammu and Kashmir Socialist Democratic Party (SDP) launched a 'Vote for India' campaign here today to counter "misleading" politics of mainstream and separatist parties in the state.

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Socialist Democratic Party (SDP) launched a 'Vote for India' campaign here today to counter "misleading" politics of mainstream and separatist parties in the state.
We have launched the campaign to counter the misleading propoganda of certain parties, said SDP President, Darakshan Andrabi.
Andrabi said her party would field 40 candidates for the forthcoming state assembly elections next year, adding that the main agenda is to bring industrial revolution and development to the state.
She said politicians have misled the people of the state with one emotional slogan or another.
Slogans like self rule, greater autonomy and safr-e-azadi (journey to freedom) have been raised to fool the people she said referring to the main planks of People's Democratic Party (PDP), Hurriyat conference, National Conference and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front.
Claiming that her party's stand has received tremendous response from the youth, Andrabi said the youth were the future of the state and will play a decisive role in countering the propoganda unleashed by anti-India elements in the state.
