India's dance of democracy is going global, thanks to a local train.

The British Broadcasting Corporation on Wednesday announced its commissioning of a special train that will take broadcast journalists on an extended tour of India Delhi-Ahmedabad-Mumbai-Hyderabad-Bhubaneswar-Kolkata (Calcutta)-Patna-Allahabad-Delhi over April 25-May 13.

The journalists on board will include broadcasters in Swahili, Somali, Arabic and Persian and they will provide reportage over multiple platforms: TV, radio, online and mobile.

They will focus on not only the elections, but also the Indian growth story, given global attention on Indias positive economic performance in these troubled times, said a BBC press release.
