SC to hear Ayodhya title suit today

The Supreme Court will start hearing the Babri Masjid-Ramjanmabhoomi case from Monday.

FAIZABAD: The Supreme Court will start hearing the Babri Masjid-Ramjanmabhoomi case from Monday.

This will be the first hearing in the apex court after the Allahabad high court's verdict in the title suit delivered in September last year.

Lawyers from both sides will begin arguments on four appeals filed from the Muslims and two from Hindus.

The litigants from the Muslim side are Hafiz Mohammad Siddiqi of Jamiat Ulema Hind, Sunni Central Waqf Board of UP, Misbahuddin and Mohammad Hashim Ansari while Hindu Mahasabha and Nirmohi Akhara are representing the Hindu side.
