Supreme Court on Monday stayed the death sentence of former Congress leader Sushil Sharma, who was convicted in the sensational Tandoor murder case.


NEW DELHI: Supreme Court on Monday stayed the death sentence of former Congress leader Sushil Sharma, who was convicted in the sensational Tandoor murder case. A bench of Justices S B Sinha and Markandey Katju, while admitting the appeal filed by Sharma, who killed his wife Naina Sahni, referred the matter to a three-judge bench for further hearing.
