SC quashes order rejecting sanction to Sadananda Gowda's building
The high court had given its verdict on a PIL filed by advocate Nagalakshmi Bai who had contended that the two had violated the lease-cum-sale agreement.

"We feel that the conclusion given by the Karnataka High Court is not sustainable in law...The appeals are allowed," a bench comprising Justices Madan B Lokur and S A Bobde said.
The SC order came on appeals filed by Law Minister Gowda and former Food and Civil Supplies Minister D N Jeevaraj against the 2012 high court judgement quashing the sanctioned plan of construction on the site.
