SC draws distinction between Arvind Kejriwal and Kejriwal Soren's cases
Supreme Court questioned Hemant Soren's plea against ED arrest, granted interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal for election campaigning, seeking more legal arguments from Soren's counsel, noting the prosecution complaint.

It also noted that the special court has taken cognisance of the prosecution complaint (equivalent of a charge sheet) filed by ED against Soren and other accused in a money-laundering case linked to an alleged land transfer.
A vacation bench headed by Justice Dipankar Datta put this query to Soren's counsel, senior advocate Kapil Sibal, asking him to furnish more legal arguments to support the claim that the arrest was illegal.
SC earlier this month granted interim bail to Kejriwal, permitting him to campaign during the ongoing elections. The plea will come up for resumed hearing Wednesday.
