Satyapal Singh’s rented flat was home to sex trade
Satyapal Singh has landed himself in a spot as a flat belonging to him in Versova, a Mumbai suburb, was found to be running a prostitution racket.

The Social Service (SS) branch officers of the police carried out a raid at the tenth floor flat in Patliputra building in Versova on Sunday night and arrested one person, identified as Vakil Raju Shah, and ‘rescued’ two women who were allegedly employed as sex workers.
Police investigations have, however, given the former top cop a clean chit. They said that their probe have revealed that Singh had given the flat, on a 3-year contract, to a business house for use as a guest house. The business house appointed Shah as its ‘caretaker’ for the flat, who in turn, ran the racket.
Meanwhile, Satyapal Singh has clarified that he was neither in legal or physical possession of the said property for the last decade, adding that he has spoken to the Mumbai Police Commissioner and has requested him for an impartial investigation to get to the bottom of this matter. he suspects something fishy in this incident.
