Sasikala's counsellors seek removal of Secretary at Jaya death probe commission
The Commission completed a year in existence on Tuesday, having set up on September 25 last year to probe the circumstances around the death of the former chief minister.

N Raja Senthoor Pandian, counsellor for Sasikala, told ET: "We have filed a complaint with the Commission seeking removal of Secretary Komala on account of fear that she may tamper with evidences filed with the Commission."
The Commission completed a year in existence on Tuesday, having set up on September 25 last year to probe the circumstances around the death of the former chief minister and file a report with the Government. It has examined over 100 witnesses from bureacucrats to top police officers in its fact-finding process, however, grouses remain over the Commission's not summoning deputy chief minister O Panneerselvam. It was Panneerselvam who originally voiced a demand that the circumstances around her death should be probed.
The Commission has been extended twice so far -- once in December last year and in June this year. With its deadline for filing the report approaching on October 24, sources aware of the developments in the Commission state another extension is likely.
