Saritha Nair Accuses Two more Congress MLAs of Taking Bribe

KOCHI: Solar scam accused Saritha Nair has alleged that she has paid money to two more Congress MLAs.The two MLAs who accepted money from her are Benny Behanan and PC Vishnunath, she said.

The money was paid as donations to the party fund. Deposing before the solar scam inquiry commission, she sa id that she had given `. 5 lakh to Benny Behanan. And ` .2 lakh was paid to Vishnunath for his Manavika Yathra, she added. No receipts were given by both the MLAs, she added. Saritha Nair said that it was in November 2011 that she gave the money to Benny Behanan.

PC Vishnunath took the money from her in 2012. The money was given in two instalments to Vishnunath at Ottappalam and Ernakulam. Interestingly, through her allegations, she has targeted Congress leaders who are known Oommen Chandy loyalists.

In the past few days, Saritha Nair has made allegations against Benny Behanan, PC Vishnunath and Thampanoor Ravi.

She has also made allegations against the chief minister himself, his son Chandy Oommen and his former office staff and gunman.
