Saradha scam: Kunal Ghosh tells court he is being pressurised
KOLKATA: Suspended Trinamool Congress MP Kunal Ghosh today claimed before a city court that he was being pressurised by police and jail officials not to take names of some persons he had earlier mentioned in the Saradha chit fund scam.

Ghosh's counsel Ayan Chakraborti submitted before the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Barun Roy that he was being pressurised not to mention the names of some persons who he had earlier mentioned during hearings alleging involvement in the muticrore-rupee ponzi scheme scam.

Ghosh had on earlier occasions taken the names of some Trinamool Congress leaders in connection with the scam both during court hearings and also to the media while being taken in or out of courts.

The CBI counsel today submitted that some more bank accounts related to the Saradha scam have been found and investigations were continuing.

After conclusion of hearing, judicial custody of Ghosh, Saradha Group chairman Sudipta Sen and his associate Debjani Mukherjee were extended till July 20.
