Saradha scam: ED interrogates painter Shuvaprasanna
KOLKATA: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials today interrogated painter Shuvaprasanna for the second time in connection with the Saradha ponzi scam.

Shuvaprasanna, who is considered close to the ruling Trinamool Congress, arrived at the CGO complex housing the ED's office at around 11 am and was subjected to several rounds of questioning, ED sources said.

The agency had earlier questioned the painter in connection with the sale of his shares in a TV channel to Saradha Group chief Sudipta Sen.

ED had earlier frozen two bank accounts of the painter. But he was asked to appear again as the ED officials had spotted some inconsistencies in his statements, the sources added
