Saradha chit fund scam: Sudipto Sen admitted to jail hospital

KOLKATA: Saradha Group Chairman Sudipto Sen, presently lodged in the Alipore Jail, was today admitted to the prison hospital following health problems.

"Sen has been admitted to the Alipore Jail hospital following complaints of some health problems. He will undergo a check-up in the hospital and doctors are looking after him," a senior jail official said.

In August too, Sen was admitted to the jail hospital for a health check-up.

Arrested for the multi-crore Saradha chit fund scam, Sudipta Sen is in jail custody along with several ruling TMC leaders.
