Sarabjit's death extra-judicial killing by Pakistan: Narendra Modi
AHMEDABAD: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today described the demise of death row prisoner Sarabjit Singh as an "extra-judicial killing," and accused the Indian and Pakistani governments of misleading people over the issue.

Expressing grief over Sarabjit Singh's death, Modi said that it is very sad. May his soul rest in peace and may god give strength to his family to bear this loss.

Demanding that truth on this issue should come out, Modi wrote on twitter "Both, the Government of India & Government of Pakistan have misled people on Sarabjit Singh issue."

"Sarabjit's extra-judicial killing is yet another grim reminder that expecting Pakistan to follow due process of law in any sphere is futile," he further wrote.

Centre is unable to give a strong answer to Pakistan's inhuman acts. Beheading of our soldiers & now Sarabjit's death are two recent examples, Modi wrote on his twitter account.

Sarabjit died of cardiac arrest in a Pakistani hospital in the wee hours today after being comatose for nearly a week following a brutal assault by fellow inmates in a high-security jail.
