Sanjay's decision to join Samajwadi Party his own: Priya

MUMBAI: Congress MP Priya Dutt on Wednesday said her film star brother Sanjay Dutt's decision to contest the Lok Sabha elections on a Samajwadi Party ticket is his own and there was no feud in the family over the issue.

"It is his choice whether to contest elections or not and from which party. Whether I support it or not is something else. We are individuals in our family, we take our own decisions individually and take responsibility for it," Ms Dutt told reporters here.

To say that the Congress had been unjust to Sanjay and forced him to opt for the Samajwadi Party was incorrect, she added.
