Sanathan Sanstha legal advisor asks Marathi literary meet chief to go on a morning walk
The legal advisor of Sanathan Sanstha, Sanjiv Punalekar is once again in controversy after Punalekar allegedly gave a threat to Marathi Literary meet Chief Shripal Sabnis. On January 3rd Punalekar tweeted to Shripal Sabnis where he ‘advised’ him, “ You should wake up early and go for a morning walk.”tweeted Punalekar.

The ‘advice’ for a morning walk has ominous over tones simply because anti superstition activist Narendra Dabholkar and Comrade Govind Pansare were both killed during their morning walks and the police have arrested a Sanathan Sanstha activist for the murders.

While the Sanathan Sanstha immediately distanced themselves from Punalekar’s quote by saying that it was his personal opinion.

Sabnis told reporters that he clearly believed that it was a threat. “ This is a threat, both Pansare and Dabholkar were killed while on their morning walk. It is the same message for me, a clear threat. I am not afraid of this threat though.”said Sabnis.

He however added that he wanted Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the police to take action.

Sabnis has been in the spotlight after his remarks recently where he criticized Modi for the riots in Gujarat but also lauded him for going to Pakistan in spite of there being a likelihood of him being killed in Pakistan.
