ISLAMABAD: Slain former Pakistani premier Benazir Bhutto's only surviving sibling Sanam, who has kept her distance from politics, says she still hates it and her elder sister had always kept her away from it.

Sanam, who accompanied Benazir to Pakistan when she returned after a self-imposed eight-year exile, said her sister was very happy about her return and that was why she came back home with her in October last year.

Sanam said that two days before her return to Pakistan, Benazir wrote a 17-page will which she had read, the media reported.

Asker about her last contact with Benazir, Sanam said she had received an email from her sister on Eid-ul-Azha in December.

Sanam narrated an interesting incident about her sister that occurred when they were on a flight from London to Pakistan. The plane started wobbling in mid-air and the passengers panicked.

The pilot then called Benazir into the cockpit and asked her to speak to the passengers on the microphone and tell them to stay calm, Sanam said.
